The Saltire Pride candlestick is appriximately 25 cm, 10 inches tall. The base is in the form of a celtic knot, as seen in the Book of Kells, and as we understand, an ancient symbol of the Trinity.  The centre of the candlestick swirls up to the candle cup and at each of  the points above the knot is a free form Saltire and Scottish thistle. Each thistle is tied with a tartan bow, in this picture we used the beautiful Ancient Pride of Scotland tartan, which goes so well with our glass. Coloured with mother of pearl and deep purple and leaf green lustres. All our candlesticks are supplied with quality purple candles which have been personally tested by ourselves. As with all our candlesticks they have been tested and are designed to be used and enjoyed.
